The Tygrine Cat by Inbali Iserles

It has very realistic settings. It's almost as if you are there. And it's almost as if it's real.

It was very good and I love cats they’re so cute. I think some people would like it but not all children will.

Shelley, Brora Primary

It was sort of good (ok).

Jojo, Brora Primary

It was kinda boring but it was good. Not all my friends like it. The author could have done better but that’s my opinion - not that good.

Conor, Brora Primary

It is very imaginative and quite real

Brora Primary

It was good. The characters were very real as well.
Terri, Brora Primary

The Tygrine cat has some interesting ideas such as the trance state experienced by cat shamans but there is a bit too much talking and a bit too little action. I really like the descriptions of the Suzerain and Mithos and the shaman chant really stuck in my head but I wish the book hadn’t built up towards the end then finished abruptly. The Tygrine Cat isn't up with the best of them but it is an enjoyable, if a bit slow adventure.

Patrick, Achfary Primary
