The Boy in the Biscuit Tin by Heather Dyer

Heather Dyer has a wonderful imagination and I'd love to know where she got all her ideas from. The book was utterly brilliant all the way through. She also cleverly told you the meanings of difficult words like levitation and others. By making Francis ask questions and lbby use another word for levitation. Peter Bailey does excellent illustrations. Over all an indescribable book but shall we say... supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the idea but thought that it dragged on a bit. I also liked the description but thought 8 year olds might get confused about who is talking when ,but I overall think that it was a good book.

This book is largely entertaining and full of, quite literally, magical humour. My favourite character is either Alex or Francis as they both are full of mischief and very curious. I recommend it to anyone who loves fun books.

Milo, Dochgarroch Primary

This book is a very good book if you like magic tricks. My favourite character is Ibby because she always says 'this is a bad idea'.

Izzy, Dochgarroch Primary

I thought this book was really good and extremely funny. I think that this book is good for people ages 7 to 12 and I think that they would really enjoy it. It's funny because he thinks he is magic and he thinks that he is going to live in the biscuit tin forever when he comes out at the end.

Jenny, Kinlochbervie Primary

I liked it because its crazy like me!

Christopher, Wick North School

I thought it should of been in a lower age group because it didn't catch my attention and I thought my little sister would like it better.

Ruth, Hilton of Cadboll Primary

I thought the title of the book could have been better and it didn't catch my attention.

Gillian,Hilton of Cadboll Primary

It was kind of boring at the start, then it gets really good. It has a great ending!!!

Jojo, Brora Primary

It was quite boring at the start but at the end I couldn’t stop reading it was that good.

Terri, Brora Primary

It was the best book I have ever read in my life. My favourite bit was when their uncle Godfrey reappeared out of the case that he vanished from and I think loads of children and even adults would like it.

Shelley, Brora Primary

It was pretty good but could have been better. Most of my friends like it. I think the author did pretty good work.

Conor, Brora Primary

It was bad at the start but it got better.

Michael, Brora Primary

It has bad ideas at the start, but it gets better throughout the book.
