I really enjoyed this book. It
was really realistic. I think the author could have held the readers interest a
wee bit more.
The story was quite good but
some bits didn't hold my interest for very long. It was written well although it
took me a while to get into it. The descriptions given about the settings were
really good though so you got a very vivid picture in your head. The characters
were also interesting and unusual. I would recommend this book to ages 10+. The plot was realistic and it could have really happened. I didn't like the use of the strange names at the start like ""pawnbroker"" as I didn't know what it was.
