Waves by Sharon Dogar

The book started off well with strange characters. It was exciting and mysterious. As the story develops, it becomes quite confusing because the story jumps backwards and forwards too much.

This book is about a boy whose sister is in a coma and what she is experiencing whilst in it. It is a really well written book with a good plot with a sad ending. I also liked the way it is written from more than one point of view.

I did not like the amount of swearing and rude things in the book. I also couldn't really work out what the plot was.

I liked the fact that both the girl in the coma and the boy who was her brother took it in turns to tell the story. Brilliant book.

Sara, Culloden Academy

I thought it was well written, but very sad as you learn about what Charlotte (Charley) went through.
