These
are only examples of visual timetables. The timetables are in colour,
but for some youngsters with ASD the visual timetables would need to be
in black and white only.
They were created using the Softease software programme which is
available in Highland Council schools so that they could be easily
resized to suit the individual child/circumstances.
The graphics used are from Mayer-Johnson’s PCS Metafiles Picture Index
and to use these visual timetables schools should have their own copy of
this software and a licence for it. Mayer-Johnson’s
PCS Metafiles Picture Index may also be available through your Additional
Support Team Teacher/Leader.
